“GLaDOS: I hope you brought something stronger than a portal gun this time. Otherwise, I’m afraid you’re about to become the immediate past president of the Being Alive Club. Ha, ha”

First Glass

• 2 cl Gold Tequila
• 1 cl Orange Juice

Second Glass

• 2 cl lime juice or Roses lime
• 1 cl Bol Blue

Directions:

Pour ingredients in the 2 shot Glasses. Tell the costumer to start from the yellow one and end with the blue shooter

Garnish:

As Much as possible

Notes:

The idea was to have two shots, representing the two portals. The challenge was to make the combo taste nice and also have the right colors. This here is actual an alternative way to take the traditional salt, tequila, lemon.

The Drink is a Lie

• Cheap beer

Directions:

Start getting a Martini Glass. Put some Fancy Garnish on it. Get a cheap beer from the fridge. Pour it into the fancy-made Glass while the customer sees it and serve. Tell the Costumer that of course there is beer in it, as the drink was a lie.

Garnish:

As Much as possible

Notes:

Had some good fun with the costumers 🙂 The Credit for that drinks goes to a friend of the bar: Douglas E. Wilson. The idea was again circling around the concept of “the cake is a lie”, now just with a drink.

The Cake is Not a Lie

“Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at
the conclusion of the test”

• 2 cl Whisky
• 1 cl kahlua
• 1 cl Bols Brown Cacao
• 1 cl Cherry Liqueur
• 1 cl Bols Strawberry
• Whipped Cream

Directions:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Rocks Glass. Top up with Cream.

Garnish:

Strawberry Slices

Notes:

You always hear “the cake is a lie”, I wanted to turn it around and make a drink, which taste like a tasty cake. Inspired by the ‘Midnight over Tennessee’

Sentry Gun

“Who is there? I See you. Target Acquired. Fire”

• 2 cl Vodca
• 1 cl Bols Banana
• 1 cl Bols Blue
• 2 cl Black Sambuca
• 1 cl Cherry Liqueur
• 1 cl Lime Juice
• Top Up with Sprite

Directions:

Shake first six ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled Highball Glass. Top up with Sprite.

Garnish:

A Cocktailberry on top

Notes:

Inspired by the ‘Liquorice all sort’. A drink which is sweet, but at the same time deadly to drink was my objective here.

GLaDOS

“This is your fault. I’m going to kill you. And all the cake is gone. You don’t even care, do you? ”

• 1 cl Absinthe or Pernod
• 1 cl Bols Mint
• 2 cl Sourz Apple
• 1 cl Lime Juice
• 2 cl Apple Juice
• 1 cl Chilled Water

Directions:

Shake ingredients with ice and fine strain into Martini Glass.

Garnish:

One Square Icecube in drink

Notes:

Got my inspiration from the drink ‘Glad Eye Coctail’, because of the Name and of the absinth (madness of GLaDOS”).

Chell

“GLaDOS: You are not a good person. You know
that, right? Good people don’t get up”

• 5 cl Cranberry Juice
• 3 cl Grape Juice
• 2 cl Apple Juice
• 1 cl Lime Juice
• 2 cl gin

Directions:

Shake ingredients with ice and fine strain into Highball Glass filled with ice.

Garnish:

3 Lime Wedge in drink

Notes:

I wanted to make a drink that must represent the bitterness Chell must feel, while trapped as a test rat. Also the color should match with her orange jump suit.
